This 1,200-acre, master planned development will provide a vibrant mixed-use community with a variety of housing, employment, civic, educational, open space trails, and recreational opportunities within the City of Black Diamond.
The DEA landscape architecture team, along with our planners, surveyors and civil engineers, worked closely with the client to transform this former gravel quarry site into a Transit Oriented Development community of 250+ units.
DEA’s landscape architects, planners, civil engineers, and surveyors have prepared several alternative master plan concepts for updates to the Port Gamble Master Plan. The completed 318-acre, infill redevelopment project will feature residential units, commercial space, and event space. New parks will be installed throughout the site, and open space will protect existing critical areas, including Hood Canal and the Port Gamble Bay shoreline.
DEA’s landscape architecture design team won the WASLA Merit Award for Residential Design for this project. Danielson Grove incorporates green building techniques into a sustainable pocket neighborhood.
DEA provided 3D laser scanning services for this 250 acre landfill and the on-site operations building.
