Alternative Project Delivery (APD) means delivering projects using methods that were developed to streamline project design and construction; integrating the knowledge, creativity, experience, and passions of design and construction professionals from the beginning to the end of a project. Choosing an appropriate project delivery method is largely driven by the complexity of the project, the schedule expectations, the anticipated project risks, the level of completion of the project’s bridging documents, the alignment of project stakeholders, and (often) the overall market circumstances.
