DEA Marine Services is an expert in marine geospatial analysis techniques and uses desktop, mobile, and web-based geographic information systems (GIS) for survey design, data collection, data management, data analysis and interpretation, and cartographic design and visualization. Geospatial data analysis and visualization are central components of our projects, and we use GIS as an integrated tool to help our clients organize, view, manage, and understand their data.
Core geospatial products and services can include spatial data management, compilation, and integration, 2D and 3D spatial analysis and interpretation, and cartographic map production. Complex benthic characterization studies often include the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology. Our analysts are proficient at integrating data from Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, ESRI and other GIS software packages, and Google Earth. Industry standard Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliant metadata is provided to document the work for future use.
