I-205: Johnson Creek – Glenn Jackson Bridge, Phase 2
Multnomah County, OR
The DEA team helped ODOT meet a key requirement of the Keep Oregon Moving program (House Bill 2017), which generates $5.3 billion of transportation funding for public agencies across Oregon. As prime consultant, DEA led the project design team that completed 100% bid documents in 10 months for the $30 million project. During the accelerated design phase, we aligned the project scope and budget, developed the preliminary and final design, stepped through five major milestone review submittals, secured project permits, supported the environmental approval process, resolved utility connection and conflict issues, managed a blended team of consultants and ODOT staff, produced a plan set of 400 sheets, and provided all deliverables to go to bid. We developed innovative ways to shorten the construction critical path and meet the HB2017 deadline.
