DEA is providing rail, civil, structural, geotechnical and construction engineering services for this three-mile project that will connect two sections of double track along US 95 and Cocolalla Lake. The project includes more than 13,000 feet of new main track and a crossover to form a new control point, transitions of the new track from one existing main to the other, removal of existing turnouts, signal facilities, site preparation, and grading. The project also includes replacing a bridge with a box culvert, relocating an existing county road under the bridge, and upgrading an at-grade crossing.
