DEA works with clients to develop regional parks and recreation areas ranging from one acre to thousands of acres in size, to create master plans for major recreation corridors, and to purchase land to set aside for public open space. DEA has a strong firm-wide, award-winning resume for trail master planning and design. DEA has been involved in master plans for bicycle, pedestrian, and equestrian trails, citywide bicycle master plans, and detailed design and planning for all types of trails including Class I, II, and III bike routes, nature trails, river trails, recreational trails, primitive trails, staging areas, trailheads, and interpretive signage and wayfinding.
