David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA), a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon, has acquired TranTech Engineering, LLC, a civil engineering firm located in the state of Washington.
The TranTech Engineering acquisition provides DEA with additional expertise in comprehensive engineering and construction management services. Since 2005, TranTech Engineering has specialized in structural engineering, including bridge design and rehabilitation, seismic analysis, structural inspections, and industrial facility design. Their civil engineering expertise ranges from roadway design and ADA compliance to traffic engineering and stormwater management. In addition, TranTech Engineering offers construction management services, including resident engineering, cost estimating, schedule development, and specialized knowledge in concrete and foundation construction.

As part of the integration process, TranTech Engineering will consolidate resources in DEA’s Bellevue and Olympia, Washington offices, while extending DEA’s presence to Bellingham and Pasco, Washington. This strategic acquisition will add over 50 TranTech Engineering employees to DEA, further bolstering DEA’s presence in the state of Washington to include more than 300 employees.
