DEA is proud to be featured in the latest issue of the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association (PNWA) “Nor’wester Newsletter” for our work on NOAA’s hydrographic survey project of the Lower Columbia and Willamette Rivers.
Our Marine Services team is conducting bank-to-bank surveys using high-resolution multibeam sonar aboard vessels like the “Brennan.” In collaboration with DEA Geomatics, we’re also performing laser scans of bridges, overhead transmission lines, and key port infrastructure to enhance NOAA’s data in previously less-surveyed river sections.
This critical effort will support safer navigation and more informed waterway management across the region.
