We are excited to announce that DEA Associate Rick Garcia, PE, QSD/P, has been elected to the Afognak Native Corporation Board of Directors. Rick is an Afognak Native with traditional homelands on and near Kodiak Island in Alaska. Through his work on the board, he will support its purpose of providing social, cultural, and economic benefits to shareholders. By providing benefits to shareholders and strengthening Ag’wanermiut, “our community,” shareholders are empowered, and the culture and heritage of the Afognak Alutiiq people is preserved.
