DEA Brings Hydrographic Surveying to the Classroom

DEA hydrographer Erin Vilaysanh recently spoke to math classes at a Vancouver, WA, high school about hydrographic surveying and how she started in this field. “Speaking to students about my career was a privilege,” Erin said. “I didn’t know about hydrography at that age, and it’s something that I want to encourage young adults to explore.”
