At DEA Marine Services, our work begins where the land ends. From deep water surveys near Andros Island, Bahamas, sub-seafloor explorations in the Dry Tortugas to precision mapping along the Columbia River, we use advanced tools like autonomous vessels, high-resolution multibeam sonar, 3D sub-seafloor imaging systems, remotely operated vehicles, and synthetic aperture sonar—to better understand the character and resources on and below the seafloor and support safe, efficient maritime operations.
On World Ocean Day, we’re reminded why this work matters: understanding the ocean environment, fostering healthy oceans, ensuring safe maritime navigation, stewarding marine resources, and facilitating a sustainable blue economy. We’re proud to play a role in protecting and learning more about them, today and every day.
