DEA provided site civil engineering, surveying, and LEED design services for a new 16-story, mixed-use hotel and commercial facility, which covers one city block in downtown Bellevue. Services include site grading, storm drainage, stormwater detention, utility and frontage street improvement design. Frontage improvements were required for all four frontages. The site challenges included 26 feet of vertical drop over the site, requiring close coordination with the architect and design team for seamless grading of a pedestrian-friendly porte cochere and landscape grades and utility connections. LEED BD+C New Construction v3 Certification in process.
