Fulton Street Transit Center
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is developing plans for a new Fulton Street Transit Center in the general vicinity of Fulton Street and Broadway in New York City, incorporating six existing Lower Manhattan subway stations. DEA is assisting the Federal Transit Administration by monitoring the progress of projects, budgets, and compliance of completed work with approved project management plans.
The project will improve access to and connections between 12 subway lines for hundreds of thousands of daily commuters and Lower Manhattan residents and visitors, and will link NYC Transit facilities with PATH service (to New Jersey) and the World Trade Center site.
